Wet Vinyl Installation Instructions

Note: Small vinyl lettering and decals should be installed dry.

Mix 1 or 2 drops of liquid dish soap in a spray bottle of water.

Spray your surface and the bottom of the vinyl (after removing the liner) with the water. Then proceed with the normal vinyl installation.

Don't get the paper liner under the vinyl adhesive wet. If this gets soggy it will be very hard to remove the liner.

Make sure any water that is under the vinyl gets pushed out. Start from the middle and push toward the edges overlapping as you go.

Important: Allow 30-45 minutes for the vinyl to dry.

Before removing the transfer tape, spray the entire surface with water and let it sit for a few minutes. This will soak into the tape and start to release the adhesive.

Slowly remove the transfer tape carefully watching to make sure the letters stay in place. If the vinyl starts to peel up with the transfer tape, squeegee it down again and wait another 30 minutes before trying again.
